AKRON, OHIO (March 28, 2016) – Country Pure Foods, the nation’s premier juice packing company, raised over $30,000 in donations during its annual fundraising event for military veterans who participate in the Wounded Warrior Project. This event took place the last quarter of 2015 and included donations from the company and employees at four manufacturing plants across the country.
Ray Lee, President and Co-CEO said, “Each year, during our donation event, we are reminded of the sacrifices that our troops make to protect us all year long. We believe it is our responsibility to honor and give back to those men and women who have given so selflessly to us. Our employees share the company’s passion for helping our real life heroes and continue to make these programs a success every year.
With the addition of funds received this year, Country Pure Foods raised nearly $200,000 in the past for programs that help wounded military veterans and their families, such as the Wounded Warrior Project and Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund.
